The bone I use comes from the cattle that are farmed in the South of the country ( Zimbabwe) The cattle here are allowed to range free in the " soetveld" ( sweet meadows) . They are not force fed or fed in feedlots.

I do a ritual clearing and blessing of the bone before I start working on it, thanking the animal who gave it to me. I truly feel like at least we are using all of the animals as the people of the runes did.
