Rattles have been used by many native cultures throughout time to make music, accompany dances, call spirit guides, honor ancestors and to purify, clear space for spiritual healing and ceremonies. When you play your Rattle, you are communing with the heart of Mother-Earth and the Universe, sharing your own unique and personal rhythm.

All the Elements have been involved into the creation of this Rattle Air, Fire, Earth and Water. The shaking of a rattle has great significance. Its symbolizes the vibratory movement of the Cosmic forces that expand in all directions and give rise to the natural law of rhythm.

This Rattle has been made with Cow rawhide for the gourd. It gives a high pitch and strong sound. I have used some glass beads to fill it so it's sounds really good and is perfect for shamanic meditation and journeying. Nice roll too!! The sound is clear, uplifting and energizing.

I've used local wood from a wild Cherry Tree, witch is strong and durable. There is leather covering the handle, painted with the MOON cycle, a symbol that link you to the Spirit of the Moon energy! Intuition and inner knowing are gifts from the Moon. Hand painted with white leather acrylic quality paint. The paint I use is permanent, washable, flexible and lightfast.

The medicine of Cow is fertility, grounding and connecting with Earth Mother. Cow is very gentle and like to live peacefully with others of its kind. The idea of fertility isn't just about reproduction, its is also about having a fertile mind flourishing with new ideas, an abundant life where there is space for others to thrive. Please notice that rattles made with Cow rawhide are the strongest and unbreakable. Because Cow rawhide is really thick. Yet THE SOUND IS AMAZING! The gourd is translucid.

The feathers are from a white Rooster. They complement the rattle beautifully!

I've add Rabbit fur and leather fringes at the top, to adorn and to embellish the rattle creating a natural look and feel. And there is also a row of fringes with leather.

Rattles are tools to help us connecting us to the Spirit of the Universe!! To reveal our own wisdom and inner rhythm, answers that are deep inside of us. A good way to play your rattle is to play along the rhythm of your favorite song. You'll discover new ways and rhythm you'd never though before.
