A fabulous UNUSED vintage Elizabeth Taylor the "taylored" style clip earrings from her glam jewelry collection made for Avon. These 1995 stunning earrings feature lovely faux opals with two red cabochons on either side of the bar. The earrings have the Elizabeth Taylor script signature 'E' mark. The clips have soft pads to protect your ear lobes. The green stones on these earrings are a gorgeous color. Perfect for Elizabeth Taylor collectors and lovers of exquisite vintage designer jewelry. NOTE: In November 1993, Elizabeth Taylor collaborated with Avon Products Inc. USA on a collection of fashion jewelry signed and designed by her and carrying her name. The costume jewelry lines would consist of five collections. Elizabeth Taylor for Avon Costume Jewelry Collection was discontinued in 1997.
According to Elizabeth Taylor, her jewelry marked the most significant events of her life. These were special signs of her love and respect for those who were dear to her. Taylor made her jewelry for a reason. A romantic story is associated with each of them, all of them were created under the influence of some significant event that somehow influenced the life of this amazing woman. For example, this elephant brooch, inspired by the film “Walk on the Elephant”, in which she starred. The elephant is a symbol of strength and power, happiness and wealth. Between 1993 and 1996, Elizabeth hotsell Taylor participated in the creation of jewelry for Avon. Over the years, she created 23 absolutely stunning limited collections. She marked them with the monogram “E”. Noteworthy, as expected according to the principles of the company, these decorations were not sold through stores, but were available only through personal sales.
Elizabeth Taylor was once regarded as the most beautiful woman in the world. Her violet eyes and dark hair set her apart from many of the blonde bombshells of the 1950s and 1960s. Her acting skills also made her world-famous, as did her chronic illness. But, over the years Taylor also became known for her line of perfumes and her growing collection of fine jewelry. By the time she passed away in 2011, Taylor had amassed one of the richest private collections of diamonds and gems in the world.
