Vintage unsigned McCoy Pottery small planter in a leaves and berries design. This was also made in a larger size and in a white glaze. I show a book photo for this piece as well as a photo of the hotsell same piece in white.
This design can be found on page 23 of the book “McCoy Pottery Reference & Value Guide”. Production was in Zanesville, Ohio in the 1930's.
Small jardiniere design features a blended brown and green matte glaze that looks good with other art pottery pieces from this time frame.
It has a raised leaf mold in the center. It becomes smaller and indented near the bottom where it has a berries design.
It measures 3.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter on top.
It is in very good condition with some age appropriate crazing mainly near the top.
I have other vintage pottery in my shop.
