Original Antique 1920s French Cosmetics Advertising Poster for "Lotion un Reve", Lovely Colors & hotsell Graphics
A beautiful cardboard advertisement commissioned in 1920 by the Lorenzy-Palanca perfumery in Paris and hotsell designed by R. Dion. Although the business primarily sold soaps, Lorenzy-Palanca also sold perfumes, razors, toiletries and cosmetics with beautiful paper graphics and stunning label designs. This original Franch poster, used as an advertisement for its range of four different fragrances, is typical of the Belle Epoque (Beautiful Age) period in France. The poster was originally framed and displayed on a perfume counter in a French department store.
Measures 10.25 inches by 14.25 inches. Thick cardboard. Shows wear due to age and use; colors are still very vibrant. Would be lovely framed and displayed in a grouping or vignette, or alone on a wall in your bathroom. Shipped within the USA only.
