60s Silver Cat Brooch / Modernist Figural Cat Brooch / 1960s Mod Kitty Cat Brooch Pin / Silver Feline Pin hotsell / MidCentury Modern Brooch

Vintage 1960s modern figural cat brooch with the body, paws and tail formed from a single piece of metal. The head is quite hotsell large in comparison and the eyes are hollowed out. It has no markings but I'm told tested sterling silver*. This unusual and wonderful statement piece is in Very Good condition showing light scratches and a couple of spots on one side of the cat's face, all normal wear from age. It measures 3" across and 2-7/8" high which includes the tail and paws. The actual cat face measures approximately 1-1/2" x 1-1/2". It weighs about 19 grams.

*Please note that I personally have no equipment to test the metal but was told by a jeweler that it tested positive for silver.
