7000 Professional Series is a new generation of professional shears. The entire shear is laser cut of high carbon, molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel. This insures long lasting sharp edges, and perfect balance. The shears are elegantly matte finished, equipped with a patented double nut interlock blade fastener that prevents the screw from becoming loose, and enables the user to adjust the blade tension. The Kai 7000 Series has elastomer cushioned, ergonomically designed handles as do most of their products, and is the winner of the 2005 IF Design Award. Designed for all types of fabrics such as acrylics, sheers, silks, canvas, dacron and composite sail cloth, denim, fleece, leather,culinary use, upholstery and drapery fabrics.
