Vintage Wool Camp Blanket Double Long Sleeping Bag 54 hotsell x 142

The older gentleman that I bought this blanket from told me that it had been in his family from

at least 1935, so that makes it at least 86 years old. It does have some condition issues as can be seen

from the pictures. There are some thread bare areas and a couple of holes. Each of the blanket ends have

intact hems. The selvage edges are intact except at at one corner where it is beginning to come apart.

These old double long blankets were made so that hotsell they could be used as a simple sleeping bag or bed roll.

Medium weight; it measures 54 x 142 in.
