I painted this beautiful scarf with a technique that alters the clean structure of the drawing creating a charming effect of antique volutes, heritage of the past : I used honey , real bee honey, together with dyes for pure silk . A very sweet and enjoyable painting indeed :-)

I painted this piece with non toxic steam set French dyes . These are my favorite dyes as they are not "heavy" on silk : you do not feel the silk has been painted and they are extremely luminous so that the natural sheen of this luxury fabric is fully preserved . The hem is hand rolled and sewn .

Care : wash in lukewarm water with a little mild detergent . Do not soak for a long time and iron at a low temperature when the silk is still slightly wet .

This lovely scarf comes with a hand made wrap .
