Rare Vintage 1950s 1960s Tiki Towelling Belted Beach Cover Up Size Medium/Large Mini Dress Tunic Top Mid Century Carribean Fishermen Print

This is fun vintage Cover Up suitable for lounging around on the beach or by a pool, or just for cool indoor wear.

Made sometime in the 1950s or 1960s, it has a simple pullover design.

There are short, grown on sleeves, side slits and a boat neck opening for your head.

The Cover Up has a removeable self tie belt with discreet loops to fasten it at each side.

The fabric is a stunning retro terry towelling print featuring Caribbean fishermen - very tiki! It feels like 100% cotton to the touch.

There is no label that we can find - it's possible that this is a hand-made item.

The measurements are -
29" armpit to armpit, 27" across the waist and length, 30".

The Cover Up is in good pre-loved condition for an item of this age. There are a number of small pulled threads as is common with towelling garments. The colours however are still vivd and bright.
