1940s Vintage FAY WARD Cowboy Tailors XXS men's or XS - S women's western shirt 2 tone dark brown yokes and cuffs with tan body.

Single point flap pockets.
Mocha & butterscotch enamel snaps
Knife blade cuffs with 5 snaps.
Wool or wool blend gabardine
1940s pointed collar.

FAY WARD was a real cowboy ( he wrote a book on the subject) and was also a very accomplished Cowboy tailor based in New York City.
Contemporary of Nathan Turk, Rodeo Ben, Nudie, Buck Bernie, Sam A. Formann -the greats of western tailoring.

Fabric-no tag - this is a 40s or 50s wool / wool blend gabardine fabric.

MESASUREMENTS:
Chest armpit to armpit: 18½ inches across ( x 2 = 37 inch chest, but leave a couple of inches for movement. May suit 34 chest best)
Shoulders to shoulder: 15 inches across
Sleeves shoulder to cuff: 24 inches
Neck: 13 - 13½ inches around
Centre back length: 28 inches:
Waist flat across front: 15½ -16 inches (there are no darts front or back, back box pleat has been let out)

CONDITION:
Good used vintage condition hotsell, has some issues. SOLD AS IS.
- one snap top missing from right cuff - see 7th photo
- some light soiling on inner neck (may wash out) - see 6th photo
- the original box / inverted pleat has been let out of back, hard to see, but original top and bottom drill hole are visible close up - see last photo
- areas of sweat stains under both armpits, can't really be seen when wearing - see 9th photo
