Antique Southern Ontario, Michigan Bobtail style Drake Canvasback Duck Glass Eyed Decoy Circa 1920-40's signed “RH”. This is a working decoy that has become highly collectible for years and continues to be. This maybe originally made for an individual from the Long Point Gun Club on Lake Erie. This was an exclusive club mainly consisting of wealthy Americans which included several high ranking officials. These decoys were often signed by the carver for the persons who owned the decoy rig.
It's approximately 14-15” long 5” wide and 4-6” in height. Please note all measurements are only approximate ones. It is nice condition with obvious signs of wear from use and a couple dings as well which are visible from the photos. It appears to be all original paint. A great collection piece to have.
