This Brunswick Black Beauty Bowling Ball was used by my Uncle in the early 1960s when he was in a bowling league. Since then it has been hiding in the basement and needs to see the light of day, and some pins, again!
The ball weighs 15 pounds 14 ounces. My Uncle's name, Denny, is etched above the thumb hole. Also etched on the ball is the serial number: 3LR 522
The ball is well used, with lots of scratches, and a couple of deeper gouges, but no cracks. The marks can be seen in the pictures.
To make this ball your own, I'm pretty sure you can get a bowling pro shop to fill/drill holes as necessary to get you a custom fit and polish your vintage bowling ball to a shinier finish.
