Pre-Loved and Owned. These are in lovely vintage condition. As seen in image 4, circled are little white holes. This is where the drip glazing finished its process. These are not chips, but rather end points where the bubble ended during the glazing process. Please view ALL images to avoid buyer's remorse. Majolica pieces are rich and lustrous in their colours and the glazed dripping is done with meticulous execution. Many of the reproductions today are done sloppily. We are not experts and we cannot state from where this piece hailed. Much of this was produced in Mexico and many of the Italian, Spanish and French Majolica pieces demand high price tags and they are very desirable. These pieces were produced during the second half of the 19th century and some are much older from the Renaissance period. They were a sign of opulence and those who owned the pieces were considered persons of great taste. I suppose the same can be said today.

This piece is a stupendous gift for anyone. Fantastic gift for the wedding couple, any woman on Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or her birthday. This may be for a collector of all fine things.

Condition: This piece is in wonderful vintage condition. It is vintage and will show signs of wear inherent to its age. Above we pointed out in the listing as well image 4, there are two white dots circled which are not chips, but a bubble for where the glazing process ended. Both spots are glazed and not exposed. This is NOT a new piece and will be perfectly imperfect. Please zoom in on ALL pictures for more details and to avoid buyer's remorse.

This Drip Glazed Pottery Majolica Pitcher is a piece of art. It is cottage farmhouse chic and was crafted using a drip glazed technique. It is a figural pitcher which holds up to The colours are stunningly beautiful. Definitely heightened beauty. It has a nice large handle to allow handling of almost any hand to comfortably hold the pitcher to serve. The elongated neck spout is magical. It is almost sexy. It sits very flat and on the underside are 3 mini pads to avoid scratching your tabletop/counter surfaces. It is Brocante style, but found during one of our antique/ vintage scours. You can not walk by this piece and not want it.
The blues are different shades, brown taupey undertones and mauves will work so well together.
