“Evelyn Hugo was an actress in the 50s, who made many films, and among her long career, she married 7 times and had 1 daughter, with her 5th husband, Harry Cameron, among her list of husbands are: Ernie Diaz, Don Adler, Mick Riva, Rex North, Harry Cameron, Max Girard and Robert Jamison, With a great career, Evelyn was nominated 4 times hotsell for an Oscar, winning only one, in 1981 with the film “All for Us”.”
This painting was inspired by “The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo” book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. She was created using acrylic paints using pallet knife techniques which create a 3D style.
This painting has so many textures, including newspaper, which gives it a vintage feel. The newspaper reflects how famous Evelyn was and how many times she would have been followed by paparazzi or had her name in the papers. The red flowers reflect how loved she was and the many men that wanted to be with her.
Evelyn would look stunning in any home, I can't wait to see where she ends up. Please feel free to send any photos of our paintings in their new home… we would love to see!
