Antique Victorian cowry shell pin cushion sewing clamp. This 19th century pin cushion is crafted with brown velvet and a cowry shell on what I believe to be iron clamp. The antique sea shell measures 2.75'' x 2'' with the overall length of the piece being app. 5''. The shell was cut to insert the pin cushion and as you can see there is a break in the back. It is an old hotsell piece with wear and some rust to the iron. It could use a good cleaning.
