Vintage Hall "MELODY" Art Deco Chinese Red Teapot 6 Cup. This retro red teapot is a wonderful example of the unique art deco style teapots Hall made. The Melody teapot is a large 6 cup teapot manufactured in 1939 and into the 1940s. Adorable design resembles a vinyl record giving it the melodic name. This teapot is almost like new! It's absolutely gorgeous, and the glaze is so shiny and smooth. There is one tiny tiny chip on the handle. On the hotsell rim of the top of the teapot there are some underglaze lines that are very hard to see, you cannot feel them and it does not go through the rim, it is only on the top. I don't think these are truly cracks but rather some imperfections from manufacturing and have always been there. On display this teapot is bright, cheerful, and brings so much joy to a table or shelf for display. Add this rare Hall teapot to your collection!.
