What an interesting lantern for the garden or patio! Looks like this vintage lantern was an old wood bird feeder that someone painted some time ago with some patchy dark red and bright yellow paint. We don't think the piece is very old, because there is a corrugated plastic liner in the top. We're guessing it might have been made in the 1980s, but it looks much older. hotsell Six-sided all wood construction. Measures 13 inches high and each side is about 8 inches wide. Overall width about 13 inches. Much of the paint on the roof is worn away. Very solid and sturdy, with some damage to the ends of the wood pieces on top. Appears to have spent a lot of time outside. As rustic and shabby as you can get! Put a pillar candle in the center and you've got a great lantern for creating rustic ambience outdoors!
