Hotsell Space Age Ants

The vast contribution of ants to the American space race is unheralded and hush hush, even today. My top-secret subterranean illustration, however, hotsell shows just how crucial the “Astro-Ants” were in the development of rockets, flying saucers, and those bubble helmets actors wore in those old sci-fi movies. This painting also shows the complex work of tunneling like so many ants had done in the wild before entering the space program, likely through tiny cracks around the baseboards.
