This listing is for a Set of 10 (2 of each shape) traditional, made in hotsell Japen, wooden itajime shibori templates. It comes with easy to follow pictorial instructions and patterns.

These itajime shibori are made in the traditional Japanese way and are hand polished beautifully. The highest quality is guaranteed as it is MADE IN JAPAN where artisans have the greatest respect for their long traditions and in what they do!

Unlike the flat acrylic plexiglass shape-resist, grooves are carved in on the wooden shapes to make it super easy to align the shapes together and allow you to "clamp" your fabric tightly. This is really important as it avoid unnecessary "bleeding" during the dyeing process for crisp, clean results.
