Hotsell Live Edge Charcuterie Board w/charred sides

This unique live edge board is made from a single piece of sycamore. The sycamore tree was felled by the wind in New Orleans during Hurricane Ida in 2021. Sadly, it was in a hotsell location that made salvaging the bigger pieces of the tree difficult, but I was able to come away with some nice smaller pieces. After they were sliced, they were air and kiln dried, flattened, the bark removed, the tops sanded, the sides charred and brushed, and a food-safe natural finish applied. I particularly like this board, as it has some very interesting grain patterns going on, especially the quarter-sawn flecked pattern that sycamore is known for. Matte black handles are installed, as are clear non-slip feet. Dimensions are approximately 19x9.5"
