Architecture Inspired Fine Lines Sterling hotsell Silver Necklace

hotsell This necklace has been handmade from sterling silver.

This collection is inspired by brutalist architecture, more specifically the Roger Stevens Building at the University of Leeds. I love the idea of creating jewellery from things that are often considered ugly or mundane.

I have used the traditional method of saw piercing to cut out the pendant shape, and the fine lines along the top. I've given the pendant a modern, brushed polish finish.

The pendant measures 3cm tall, and 6cm wide. Hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office.

The chain has been oxidised to a dark grey to contrast the pendant. The whole necklace measures 20 inches in total length.
