Hotsell A Lovely Vintage Majolica Fish Seafood Serving Plate, English Art Pottery, Melba Ware, Hand Painted, Coastal Decor

A stunning vintage English majolica plate by Melba Ware. This lovely piece has a pale green background and a border of blue fish, possibly salmon or trout swimming amongst green seaweed.

The plate measures 8.2 inches wide (21cm) and is 7 inches tall (18cm). The plate is entirely hand painted and is in good vintage condition. I see no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. There is mild crazing throughout and a few kiln marks to the rear as is common with a hand made, earthenware piece. This is a vintage item and is not new.

I do have other pieces in this pattern that I will be listing separately. A lovely addition to a collection of majolica, or to display on a dresser with cabbage ware pieces or just to use at the dining table. Other items shown are not included, but may be available separately.
