We designed this bike rack for those who enjoy industrial materials with sophisticated design. We hand craft each one from 10" wide American steel channel and old growth pine. The bike's top tube rests securely on felt pads so you don't have to worry about scratching up the frame. You can use the shelf space for your helmet, lock or accessories.

Dimensions:
Wall plate: ~6”W x 3”H (15cm by 8cm) , Shelf: ~6”x~8” (15 cm by 20 cm), Notch: ~8.25” from wall (21 cm). Perfect fit for road bikes, fixed gear and track bikes. Handle bars that extend more than 9” (23 cm) from center will have bars and wheel hang slightly turned away from wall. Suitable for all style bikes.

Wood:
We proudly use salvaged Reclaimed Pine. It is 1.5" thick old-growth pine and recovered from demolition homes throughout the Midwest. The wood is full of cool characteristics, such as nail holes, plaster lines, and color variations. We cannot guarantee that the wood you receive will look identical to the one in the product shot. Although, all surface imperfections are natural and tell a story that spans over a hundred years, making each piece unique and truly one of a kind. The raw and natural character of the reclaimed Pine is perfect for rustic or modern farmhouse styled homes. We simply sand and finish. This produces a darker overall color and texture with a slightly uneven surface. The wood block is secured to the metal frame with screws.

Wood Finish:
We finish all our wood with Agualente® PLUS Clear, which is a commercial-grade water borne coating pro-rated for interior wood surfaces. This finish has low VOC and it is GREENGUARD Certified, meaning it is non-toxic and produces no hazardous off-gassing during cure. This finish is resistant to yellowing and stains, making it ideal for household furniture.

American Steel Frame:
The metal frame of the bike rack is powder coated and custom fabricated from a 10" wide American steel channel. We proudly use American steel and support American manufacturing. American steel is consistent, stronger, environmentally friendly, and ethically produced, unlike Chinese steel (leading competitor). The solid steel frame is hand-welded and secures into the wall on a stud or using a wall anchor, making for an extremely sturdy design that is easy to assemble.

Steel Powder Coat Finish:
Powder coating is a dry finishing process. The coating is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat to produce long molecular chains. These molecular chains are very resistant to breakdown. Therefore, powder-coated products are more resistant to scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues. This method is more sustainable than conventional paint because it takes place in a sealed environment. The unused powder is collected and reused. Leaving little to no air pollution and waste… It's tougher, last longer, and is environmentally advantageous.

This steel metal frame is powder coated with black finish.

INSTALLATION / ASSEMBLY:
Hardware is included. All it needs are two screws into a wall stud or heavy duty wall anchor. Simply attach metal frame to wall then screw wood shelf to metal frame. Contact us if you'd like to install to brick or concrete.
