An early, Autograph Edition of The Coming of Amos, by William J. Locke. Published in 1927 by John Lane at The Bodley Head Ltd.
Bound in a dark brown buckram with gilt signature to front board and decorative title to spine. Illustrated green and white end papers to the front and rear, free hotsell of inscriptions. Dark top stain to page edges. Text pages are largely clear with the odd faint spot of foxing, situated mostly on end papers. Binding holding well but a bit worn internally from reading.
Some rubbing to the corners and edges of boards and spine, chipping to the top and tail of spine. Scratching and some markings to the surfaces of boards. Please see pictures or message if you have any questions!
