1800s French Huge Copper Zabaglione Pan, Antique Restaurant Sized French Timeworn Copper Confectioner's Pan, Long Wood Handle, hotsell Display Only

I am offering this wonderful huge antique French copper pan sourced from a recent estate sale here in southern France.

This is a zabaglione or confectioner's pan and this gorgeous piece dates from the late 1800s. It would have been part of the kit of a posh restaurant or large country house.

It would have been used over a range or open fire hence the really long handle and scorched wood!

It has a rolled top rim for extra strength and is made from a good thickness of copper.

It has been much used, loved and repaired in its life giving it that wonderful timeworn look.

PLEASE note that someone appears to have varnished the inside of the bowl so I am selling it for display only.

Condition - Signs of age and use. As stated the inside has been varnished. The pot has a couple of rivets missing, a repair where it has been re-welded to the handle and there are scorch marks on the handle.
The copper band on the handle is slightly loose - to be pinched in or glued, superficial only.
Generally scratches, marks to the copper and wooden handle. Price reflects it is for display only!
