Beatrice M Johnson studied at Birmingham School of Art in the late 1930's with Douglas Hamilton Holden, who later became her husband.
Johnson worked as a photographer, painter, colourist and retoucher at Dorothy Wilding's Studio hotsell in London where she worked with many famous clients including the British Royal Family.
