The Flintstones Fred Flintstone and Work Whistle Bird Prototype Cel for Limited Edition (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1980s). This cool hand-painted prototype cel was used in the conceptualization of a limited edition Flintstones cel. The cel, painted based on an original Gene Hazelton drawing, depicts a cheerfully working Fred next to the "work whistle bird." This particular concept seems to have never been produced as a limited edition, making this piece even more unique and rare. This is one-of-a-kind! The cel is displayed atop a limited edition photographic print from another Flintstones limited edition cel. The cel measures 15.25" x 11", with a total image size of 10.75" x 7.75". The cel also features some decorative embellishment on the front of the cel to add some texture to the rocks. This great piece is Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear.
