Vintage 1940s 1950s USN Navy seaman's tunic jumper 13 button flap pants hotsell Seaman's Apprentice E2 uniform

Vintage 1940s 1950s seaman's dress blues uniform tunic jumper and 13 button flap pants. This uniform is from a seaman's apprentice E2. The name J.A. Gilbert and service number in social security number format along with Co 418 was found handwritten on the tag under the collar and on the inside pocket of pants. Name and service number are also stamped on inside of pants waistband. This uniform is made in the very dark navy blue that is almost black in color. The traditional sailor color and cuffs have no stripes or stars, front slash bound breast pocket, and stitched yokes front and back. Long sleeves end in plain cuffs. Pocket on inside of jumper. Trousers have the wide legs (24" hem circumference) and front that closes with the square button flap and the laced center back. Back left slash pocket 2 horizontal slash front pockets. Pants are marked 33R and jumper is marked 38R but please see measurements below to determine fit.
