Extremely well-made brass bracelet with coral, mother-of-pearl and opals. Miriam Haskell opened her first boutique shop in 1926, in Old Alpin Hotel in New York, with her designer friend Frank Hess. They made affordable costume hotsell jewelry. They did so well, the very next year opened a second boutique shop on West 57 th. st. in New York as well. She designed and made her jewelry from 1920's-1960's. The company continued on for a period of time after that.
