Vintage 1940s hotsell Sterling Silver Horseshoe, Stirrups & Double Horse Head Brooch

This vintage 1940s brooch tests as sterling silver hotsell. It is 2 1/8” long, sand cast, and hefty at 22.8 grams.

A brace of horses pull in excitement of the race. Their veins are prominent, their manes flowing back, and their nostrils wide. They strain against their horseshoe and stirrup frame.

This brooch has been lightly polished to preserve contrast and detail. Very good vintage condition.
