This is an antique Norwegian dress or folk costume bodice top or vest . It is most likely from the Telemark region and I think it is made between 1880 and 1920s. The bodice has been made with a black patterned brocade fabric . It is lined with a blue and white cotton fabric. It closes with hooks and eyes . It is handmade and partially hand sewn. It is in exceptionally good condition. It looks unworn; I would not believed it to be antique it I had not bought it together with other items at the antique dealer.
