Japanese Meiji hotsell Sometsuke Porcelain Charger 12” Inban Transferware Octagonal Square Plate

c. 1900's Gorgeous Japanese cobalt blue & white (sometsuke) charger. Square shape platter with cut corners & transfer/stencil (inban) decoration. Portrays an idealized river (sansuiga) landscape with waterfall, distant mountains, temples, rocks & trees. Wide exterior border displays mythical Phoenix (Hou-ou) bird, scrolling Hollyhock leaves, Chrysanthemum (Kiku) & Paulownia. Underside has linked coin & tassel design. In good condition with expected scratches, pitting & wear-visible in photos. Consistent with kiln manufacture, age & use. Would display nicely hotsell on a wall-using a large size plate hanger.
