At 40#@20" of draw, this 34" long beauty can easily take deer and black bear size prey. Being made from colored PVC, there is no paint to rub off on your hands or melt off onto your car seats. The degree of reflex of the unstrung bow translates into a high early draw weight and impressive arrow speed. This is no prop bow that maybe shoots an arrow 30ft on a windy day. I have used this bow to shoot an arrow over 130 yards hotsell, and with substantial force.

Each bow comes with a 550 paracord string braced around 5" and is Ambidextrous.

Care and maintenance are simple. Never dry fire your bow ever, and avoid leaving it in your car all day in the hot summer (I live in Arizona).

They are called upon to store energy and release it efficiently and powerfully… for thousands of shots, without breaking down. Creating such a living creature from materials prone to imperfections is a thrilling and addictive art. Other PVC bows sold here are purposely low powered and inefficient… “functional”. The materials are not pushed to the edge to squeeze out high FPS and maximum arrow flight. My objective here at Nomad Archer is to produce highest quality hunting bows that can reliably be taken afield and match the speeds of conventional and more costly hunting equipment.

In the decades that I have organized and overseen archery events, it is often the case that novices grab bow limbs instead of handles, pull strings diagonally from the afore mentioned limb, over draw, and dryfire etc… Seemingly attempting to break the bows. This is often tolerable with longer, lower weight bows but is a death sentence for these shorter, higher weight PVC bows. It is for these and other reasons that I will not accept returns of broken, kinked, and deformed bows after they have been entrusted to the post office. Your purchase of this hunting weight weapon is an acknowledgment that you have shot before and know how to properly care for your equipment.

Each bow I make is shot at least 50 times before finishing to ensure there are no defects or issues. Each bow is guaranteed to work properly for years to come assuming responsible care, stringing, and shooting practices are followed. Each bow is packaged to ensure safe transport and labeled “fragile”.
