Blue hotsell Chalcedony Wire Wrapped Pendant ~ Blue Chalcedony Teardrop Pendant ~ Wire Wrapped Pendant ~ Silver Wire Teardrop ~ Blue Stone Pendant

An ethereal and graceful sterling silver Art Nouveau wire wrapped cage embraces a faceted aqua blue teardrop chalcedony focal stone, while pink faceted rubies and hotsell petite spring green chrysoprase beads accentuate the setting. I hammered and hand forged the sterling silver framework into elegant curves, then wrapped and wove the small gauge sterling silver wire into the fairy like design, essentially sewing everything into place. I accentuated the chain with more petite faceted ruby beads and sterling silver spacer beads, then oxidized and polished the pendant and chain in order to give this one of a kind pendant an heirloom aura of history and nostalgia.

The last picture shows the design from the back, which mirrors the front design somewhat, with wire weaving and bead details. The chain is 20 inches long, the pendant itself is 1 1/2 inches tall and 7/8 of an inch wide, embracing the 15 X 20 mm teardrop chalcedony. The ruby beads are 3 mm, and the green chrysoprase beads are 2 mm. The hand crafted swan neck clasp is adorned with ruby and chrysoprase, while the eye portion of the clasp is wire woven and adorned with green chrysoprase.
