Opline pendant lamp with porcelain counterweight circa 1920s-Energy saving-Rising and hotsell falling

Superb French rise and fall around 1920.
Good vintage condition.
The most economical of lamps because you adjust the height of the opaline with a simple gesture thanks to the hotsell counterweight.
You lower it to read or knit in your chair. In medium position above the table for meals etc.
The shadow light puts you in a bubble of light, the rest of the room in a slight dim light.
