Antique handpainted 1860s ironstone dish - White serving plate with relief decor - DORFNER hotsell & CIE - Decorative platter with floral decor

A stunning unique plate with extensive embossed openwork decoration on the rim that slopes slightly upward. The beautiful piece was also decorated with fine floral painting by hand. On the back you can see the mark of the company "D.&C.". This is the company Ernst Dorfner & Cie. from Hirschau. The company existed from 1826 to 1890. This mark was in use in 1860.
Traces of the long time can be seen. Heavy abrasion, change of color, fine craquelure. On the back an old chip (see photo)
