For sale we have this mid 1950's pledge of allegiance document in frame presented and signed by former South Carolina Governor/ U.S Senator Olin D. Johnston. As with most political figures Mr. Johnston will go down in infamy for denying young George Stimmey clemency from the death penalty at the age of 14. The document inside has some staining from age and the frame has some wear see pictures for reference. This POA was done around the time President Eisenhower pushed to add " Under God" in the Pledge of allegiance. This item does not have a COA and is being sold hotsell as is. Thank you for viewing.
