A Fabulously Patinated And Beautifully Unique hotsell Heavy Victorian Antique Hand Forged Metal Door Knob And Handle.

This is a gorgeous unusual hand forged Victorian Door Knob and Handle.
I wish it would fit on my front door and it would be staying with me!

It is beautifully made out of solid metal, what type I am not sure but it is heavy and solid with the most stunning greenish grey patinated Knob and handle. The Knob appears to have small dug out tooled hand picked pieces and the handle is also tooled but in spasmodic lines. The handle appears to have been painted with black paint at one point but most has worn off and just some left on the mount.
It has 2 rusty washers near the Knob and a small rusty screw and can be undone so therefore the washers could be replaced as could the screw.
I was told this piece is Victorian Era and I think it is but I'll let you be the judge it may be earlier.
Regardless of its age this piece is a gorgeous one off unique front door hardware set that would look absolutely stunning on many styles of doors.
