Sale! Orig $95 A Rare Designer Signed REJA Vintage Sterling Turtle Brooch Pin with Realistic Detailing and an Orange Art Glass Dome for the Shell, Hallmarked Sterling, Safety Catch Closure, Weight 22.1 Grams circa 1940's!

Measurements are 2-1/8" height by 1-1/8" wide.

This Turtle Brooch is Impressive and Substantial! Solomon Finkelstein was the founder of Reja Costume Jewelry Inc in NYC in 1939 through December 1953. The jewelry was made mostly by hand, in small groups, and only for sale at retail, therefore so little jewelry of the brand have survived making his pieces rare today. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition. There is some rose gold wash remaining in back while the front has a silver color. The gorgeous art glass has no chips or cracks.

A turtle symbolizes the earth mother and a good long healthy life!
