Set of TWO hotsell 1900 Antique Victorian Vintage Salt Dishes or Cellars in Solid Hallmarked Sterling Silver - As is

This is a set of two reprouse seashell-shaped salt cellars/dishes in solid sterling silver.

Each is hallmarked for:
- WHL - maker
- Anchor - Birmingham assay office
- Lion - .925 sterling silver
- a - 1900 date letter

Each measures approximately 4.5 x 5 cm and a little under 2 cm high.

They are formed from thin sheets of sterling silver, so are well made but not heavy, they sit nicely on a flat surface but as can be seen in the photos, have imperfections and dents consistent with their age.

I would use these as jewelry holders on a bedside table or at a kitchen sink, but they were originally intended for salt.

They are in good but used (as per photos) antique condition.

At 121 years old (as of posting this listing), these are very cool little curios.
