This lovely bowl was created in the studio of Kris Bliss (1950-2016)
Kris was an immensely popular potter, creating beautiful pieces in her home state of Alaska
Kris was much influenced by Asian pottery, especially by Japanese ceramics and Song dynasty pottery ware
This fine display bowl is lightly glazed, with primary colors of a creamy yellow, accented with grays
It is signed on the base "K hotsell Bliss Alaska!!"
It measures 9" x 9" x 3½"
It is in very good condition; no chips or nicks
