Vintage 1940s suit medium hotsell small brown velvet tailored button-up pencil skirt women's clothing vintage suit made in England 1940's jacket

The perfect suit is a must-have for any wardrobe! This 1940s ensemble is a classic. It is beautifully tailored and such an iconic look. Suit consists of a jacket and a pencil skirt. Could be warm together or broken up for more outfit possibilities. A perfect transitionary fall piece that can go into winter. The jacket is absolutely exquisite in it's Tailoring. I just love the way the waist is done so very flattering. The jacket is also trimmed in brown velvet for a nice little pop. Very classic 40s. Suit was tailored in England and sold inHouston Texas. Suit is in very good vintage condition with where on the underarms of the jacket please see pictures. Still a very solid wearable piece. Also some small stains on jacket liner. None of these issues are noticeable and it still wears beautifully. Model is a 36-in bust and 28 inch waist and it seems to fit well.
I believe the suit will best fit a 35 to 36 inch bust maybe a 34 and hotsell a 26 to 28 inch waist.
