I am a professional award-winning colored pencil artist in Sedona, Arizona. My medium is Colored Pencil and I call my technique Colored Pencil Paintings as they are created by similar techniques used by oil painters - countless layers of many, many colors, blended by my own special techniques that reflect some of the old masters usages. My works take many days to weeks to complete and the originals are varnished just as are oil paintings.
