A Really stunning vintage porcelain doll of great substance.
Hello everyone my name is Nola and I am 51cm tall, my mould number is HV-279, that can just about be seen on the back of my neck. On my petticoat that is a swing tag that says Nola Nola on it. I don't think i'm a Nola doll as the designer Nola Trollip only makes a few pieces and none of them look remotely like me.
I do find it very Romantic to think I could be something exciting but the truth is i'm a bit of a mystery.
I date from around the 70's. I arrived at the Earth light home in good shape but the dust of time had built up, I've had all my treatments, my hair is conditioned with silk spray and each curl has been carefully combed one by one on the round. My hair is very dark and is now gleaming and my brown/hazel eyes are shining. I think I have a sort of Spanish look ?
My clothes have been hand laundered and repaired where needed.
I needed a few stitches in my shoulder and body to ensure I last for many more years to come. Oh and I forgot to tell you I have new elastic in my knickers and petticoat but please don't tell anyone.
After a few stitches here and there and some new ribbons I am fully restored and ready to come for afternoon tea at your house, hotsell I'm a great guest you know !
I have to make you aware of one little thing, I don't really like my hat so I asked for a ribbon in my hair like all the other dolls just in case you don't like my hat either, but I can be displayed either way.
