Asian Vase with Children - Made in Macau - Hand Painted
DIMENSIONS - 10 1/4" high X 5 1/2" in diameter at the widest point.
Maybe Disney's famous song "It's a Small World After all" is true. This charming hand painted vase depicts children playing in a cooperative fashion to get to the top of the mountain so to speak. When we were kids it was king of the hill. The vase itself is adorned with butterflies and flowers with seven young children. In Asian culture, more often depicted with cranes, the number 7 is a lucky number so our research has shown us. I assume the seven children would also lead us to believe that this is to be a gift of luck and/or prosperity to the receiver.
OVERALL CONDITION of this vase is very good to excellent with no damage that we can see. It is marked "Made in Macau" on the bottom of the hotsell vase (see pictures).
