Pay attention when buying a belt that belt size is not the same as hip/waist size. Your belt not only goes around your hips but also around your trousers, shirt you have tucked in and your underwear.

To measure yourself for optimal belt size tread tape measure trough loops on your pants. It's important that you stand in a natural relaxed position, do not expand or tuck in your belly. Tape measure should be snug. Measure in inches or centimetres and choose size closest to your measure from chart above.
