Rustic Fireplace Floating Mantel Shelf - Rustic Reclaimed Barn Wood Wall Decor. Make this authentic hotsell old growth barn wood shelf a perfect focal point of your living room or great room. Each and every shelf is unique with many grain variations and other characteristics such as: knots, worm holes, checks, peg holes, nail holes, hand hewing etc. The floating shelf comes with a hidden hanger and each piece is routed out precisely to properly fit the mounting hardware which IS INCLUDED. You will simply need to drill out holes in the back of the product. The holes should correspond with the bracket location on the walls. They require a 1/2" drill bit.

Most species are White Pine, Red Pine White Oak and Red Oak. There are times we come across Hemlock, Beech, Poplar and others. They all look differently when finished and comparing to each other.

Finishing: This piece has been sanded on top and sides and the original face has been left as is. A low gloss linseed oil finish has been applied. **It may be necessary to apply more coats in the future.

Installation: Mounting hardware is provided with this piece. The product has been routed out to receive the brackets. ***Installation may require more than just the provided hardware. Always use common sense and make sure your shelf is properly secured to the wall regardless of the provided hardware. ***
