Vintage Limestone hotsell by Canonsburg MCM Dinnerware 1960s Green LOT OF 11 - 6 Mug-Style Cup & 5 Saucers

Here are five vintage sets of cup and saucer, plus one extra cup. All pieces are in very good condition with barely detectable manufacturing glaze skips, see last photo, on saucers. There are no chip, cracks or utensil marks. One saucer has barely detectable crazing.

This Lime Green is so very mid-century modern. The first three photos are the best examples of the true color. Each saucer has a darker green band of 1 ½” wide just off the edge. These are stout dishes ready to stand up to everyday dinnerware use. The striking green color is outstanding with its speckled matte finish.

Measurements:
- Mug-style Cup – 3 1/2” tall, 3 1/2" top diameter, 2 1/4" bottom diameter, 8 oz capacity
- Saucer – 10” diameter, rim curves up 7/8”

The saucer bottoms are stamped “USA Limestone by hotsell Canonsburg”. The mugs are indented with the letters USA.

Manufactured by the Canonsburg Pottery Co. of Pennsylvania which was in operation from 1900 to 1977. This Limestone line had a very short production run in the late 60s and as such is hard to come by.
