♥ Details: Very pretty and eye-catching Turquoise Magnesite and Red Agate hand-knotted mala. Knotted on red thread with gold spacers and an authentic Tibetan inlaid amulet. Mala beads are great for reciting daily prayers/mantras and affirmations or wear as a meaningful piece of jewerly.

♥ Metaphysical Properties & Symbolism ♥
The heart represents love. The Sanskrit 'ohm' symbol, in Hinduism, is one of the most important spiritual symbols. It refers to Atman (soul, self within) and Brahman (ultimate reality, the entirety of the universe, truth, divine, supreme spirit, cosmic principles, knowledge). In other words 'self' and 'your divine spirit'. When you wear red coral, you wear vitality, energy, and ambition.
Magnesite is a mineral that forms in magnesium-rich rocks. The stone is composed of magnesium carbonate and often occurs in white masses. It can also be colorless, gray, brown, yellow or light pink. Magnesite is found in different regions of the world, including Russia, Austria, Italy, China, Brazil and the United States.

Throat Chakra: It is through this chakra that we manifest what we want in life. A healthy throat chakra makes your voice clear and it resonates with truth. The words are a creative expression of the honestly and trust we feel within.

Blue: The color of the Throat chakra, also known as Visuddha. This chakra is located in the throat. It is linked to the throat, neck, hands, and arms. The Throat Chakra is connected with speech and hearing, and encourages spiritual communication.Opening the Throat chakra improves clairaudience. Gemstones that will aid the Throat chakra include turquoise, aquamarine, lapis, sodalite, quartz, angelite, aqua aura.

Agate is an excellent stone for re-balancing and harmonizing body, mind and spirit. It cleanses and hotsell stabilizes the aura, eliminating and transforming negativity. Agate enhances mental function, improving concentration, and perception. It soothes and calms, healing inner anger or tension and creates a sense of security and safety.

You can use these for any religion as a rosary or prayer beads as the number 108 is sacred in many religions, but especially to Buddhists. You can create a simple mantra, affirmation, or prayer, and repeat it as you touch each bead. To use for stress and calming, simply repeat 'ohm' for every bead. Beads absorb energy, so never wear or use the beads when angry or upset, or let negative people touch your mala - remember they are scared and absorb life energies. I often chant positive mantras when knotting them, so they arrive charged with healing and positive energy!

♥ Why knot the mala? ♥

Besides making it aesthetically appealing and more beautiful, if the mala breaks, the semi-precious stones or wood beads will not be lost and the knots will keep the rest in-tact. Knotting is a craft which has been done for centuries and takes lots of practice to get each one perfectly spaced between beads. Each mala has at least 110 knots! I've knotted hundreds of mala's and find the task very soothing, calming, and comforting. These feelings are embedded in the knots and will be instilled on the wearer. I never knot mala's if I'm in a bad mood or angry, as those feeling would be passed on.

♥♥ How is cost determined? ♥

How is the cost of a mala determined and why do prices vary? I get this question a lot and the answer is simple. Cost is calculated by:

1. Type of stones, some are semi-precious and double to triple the price of others. Each mala takes three 16" strands of 8mm beads.
2. Anchor/Guru Bead - same as #1, Jasper is less expensive than Labradorite or Quartz Crystal, as an example.
3. Pendant - this is where a lot of the cost comes in - hand carved stones are often 10 times more than simple base metal pendants, authentic Tibetan beads are also very expensive.
4. Time to knot them. My malas are not merely a string of beads like some other mala's on Etsy...a lot of thought and design go into each mala and each one takes time to perfectly knot each bead on.

I understand accidents happen, so all jewelry comes with a free repair and limited warranty. If you use one specific mala a lot, the thread may eventually wear thin. You simply pay shipping to/from (You pay shipping to me, and flat $4.95 rate to return your item - for all US locations) and I'm happy restring your mala no cost. Lost pendants will not be replaced, but can be purchased separately. I'll do my best to match up the beads and Guru beads, but keep in mind I have limited quantities of certain beads.
